B&M have slashed the prices of their Easter eggs in massive sell off – and some are reduced to 25p

If you’re still pining for chocolate post-Easter weekend, B&M have just launched the most incredible savings on Easter eggs.

The budget retailer has slashed the price of popular brands including Crème Eggs being sold off for as little as 25p or you can buy 12 of the sweet treats for £1.99.

If you prefer the larger chocolate eggs sets, there are Malteasers, Mars, Celebrations and Minstrels eggs being sold at £1.

However, we expect these will be snapped up very quickly as there is limited stock available in stores, and some top brands have already sold-out.

The retailer is following in the footsteps of supermarket chain Morrison, who also launched a massive sale on chocolate eggs earlier this week and Amazon who announced their 50% off Easter eggs clearance .

And if you’re looking for inventive things to do with your chocolate haul why not give this fail-safe Rocky Road bar recipe a go. Or try out one of these leftover Easter egg recipes .

Rocky Road Bar recipe

Jen Gale’s variation on Nigella’s Rocky Road Crunch Bars :

  1. Take 200g digestives and place them in a freezer bag.

  2. Squeeze out the air and seal the bag, and then bash with a rolling pin, until you have some ‘biscuit sand’ and some larger bits. This is a great job for the kids to do, or leave it for yourself if you have some stress to get rid of.

  3. In a largish saucepan melt 300g leftover Easter eggs, 125g of butter, and 3 tablespoons of golden syrup over a low heat, stirring regularly.

  4. Once it has all melted, stir to combine, and take off the heat.
Add the crushed biscuits, 100g mini marshmallows, and 100g raisins or other dried fruit (this is to make me feel like a slightly better mother…) and stir well. If you have any spare mini eggs knocking around, you could use these to decorate the top.

  5. Scoop the whole lot out into a lined brownie tin and allow to set in the fridge.
If your kids are ‘helping’, they might like to add some ‘tasteful’ decoration to the top in the form of sprinkles, or even the odd mini egg if you still have some left.
