Coronation Street has finally revealed the fate of Vinny Ashford’s missing mum Flora McArdle.
The forgotten victim of Pat Phelan hasn’t been seen on screen since she was used as a pawn in his sinister scheme.
Corrie viewers have been left guessing what happened to the sweet old dear after Vinny, real name Harvey, was brutally murdered.
Does she know her son is dead? Was Pat keeping her prisoner? Has he killed her?
All the questions will seemingly be revealed very soon as Daniel Osbourne has vowed to track her down.
The super sleuth blames himself for Flora’s disappearance as he led Phelan to her while trying to find a newspaper scoop.
Speaking to Sinead, he said: “I went so see Flora, Vinny’s mum. Wait Harvey’s mum. I went to the old folks home but she wasn’t there.”
Tactless Sinead asked Flora was dead, but Daniel revealed that she had moved out.
“I led pat Phelan to her and then he killed her son,” said a guilt-ridden Daniel.
“I thought that I was onto something and I let my source down really badly.”
Her whereabouts is confidential information that the old people’s home wouldn’t disclose but Daniel vowed to find Flora.
The elderly lady was used by Phelan to lure Vinny back to the UK.
Vinny was stunned to see Pat standing behind his mum during a video call and begged him not to harm her.
He was then blackmailed into handing back all the money from the Calcutta flats scam, before Phelan forced Andy Carver to shoot him dead.
Will we ever find out where Flora is?
