APPLE lovers rejoice – the tech giant could be releasing a tantalising set of new products this autumn.
New iPhones, Macs, iPads, Apple Watches, MacBooks and airpods are set to be shipped out later this year, according to a leading tech expert.
Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities has published a new research note for investors on what to expect for this autumn’s line-up.
It’s been rumoured for several months that Apple will release three new iPhone models at its annual September product launch.
But the true extent of their digital ambitions could be even greater than suspected.
Kuo has now predicted that Apple could release iPad Pro models featuring an edge-to-edge screen and facial recognition technology, FaceID.
According to 9to5Mac, the home button would be removed, making way for a screen more like the iPhone X.
Kuo also believes Apple Watch could be updated with larger displays than previously reported.
And he says the potential 1.57in and 1.78in screens are set to have enhanced heart rate detection.
Those with a lower budget could welcome the news that a new low-price notebook could be coming in – which Kuo thinks may not be called MacBook Air but could be rebranded in a new way.
Other updates Kuo mentions include chip upgrades for MacBook, MacBook Pro, an iMac with “significant display-performance upgrades”, and the Mac mini.
Apple is likely to release the refreshed iPad models in two sizes: a 12.9-inch model and an 11-inch model.
Kuo also thinks Apple may release a refreshed pair of its AirPods wireless headphones.

These would include a hands-free Siri activation and improved wireless performance.
Kuo did not have any updates for the upcoming iPhone models – which he believes will consist of three new versions.
One would be an updated version of the iPhone X with a 5.8-inch OLED screen, a super-size iPhone X with a 6.5-inch display, as well as a 6.1-inch iPhone that has an LCD screen, that will include FaceID and an edge-to-edge screen.
