CELEBRITY Big Brother has given its house a total makeover for the summer in time for the 2018 series.
Taking some inspiration from some of the recent biggest style trends, show bosses have gone with a tropical theme – here is what we know…
Where is the Celebrity Big Brother house and has it moved for 2018?
The house has not moved for the latest series.
The current setting for both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother is a large compound in Borehamwood, nestled right next to where the original Star Wars was filmed.
The site is just a 22-minute train journey from London Kings Cross Station.
Moving the Big Brother house to Elstree Studios in the Hertfordshire location has allowed housemates an extra level of protection.
The famous house was originally located in Bow, London, near the 3 Mills Studios.
What are the new features of the Celebrity Big Brother house?
The theme this year is tropical and “California dreaming”.
The interior of the house is a paradise of tropical prints and “Hollywood Regency flair”, with the exterior looking more like a Palm Springs desert retreat.
At first glance it looks a lot like the Love Island villa.
The house includes:
- Swimming pool
- Hot tub
- Outside bar
- Smoking area
- Dressing room

What big changes have been made to the house in recent years?
After the 2016 series, the site of the house underwent its biggest renovation and extension since 2002, and plans revealed that another separate house had been built — with its own garden.
The old house was still being used in the summer for tasks, which meant there were three separate task rooms.
Meanwhile, the eye-shaped studio entrance and outdoor studio where the live audience had previously gathered was replaced.
